Find Overset Layers
Find any layers within After Effects with boundaries outside the composition boundary. Layers that are within the composition boundary are set to 'Shy'.
This script is useful when working with hundreds of subtitles or captions, quickly identifying any subtitles that are too long and extend beyond the composition boundary.
Usage
- Select a composition to analyse.
- Run the script
- All layers within the composition boundaries are set to 'Shy', revealing any overset layers.
